What proof types are supported?
When creating a quest or adding a response, you can attach up to 3 images, or only 1 short video (up to 60 seconds).
Why can't I see other people's responses on active quests?
On active quests, responses unlock only after you submit your own proof. This helps keep it fair.
Can I respond to a quest I created?
No. You can view other users' responses, but you can't submit a response to your own quest.
How do archived quests work?
Archived quests are expired. You can't respond anymore, but you can view all responses.
How do Local Area quests work?
Local Area quests are set on a map with a radius up to 5 km. You may see them when near the area. Submitting proof is allowed only inside the zone.
If submission is blocked, check location permission, move inside the zone, disable VPN if it affects location, and try again.
How does Travel mode work?
Travel mode can be enabled or disabled in Settings. It temporarily enables quests for another city when you spend time there (activation around 40 minutes, usually available for about 24 hours).
If it does not activate, enable location, keep the app open briefly, ensure a stable connection, and wait for detection.
What quest durations are available?
Quest duration can be set from 2 to 72 hours by the creator. Expired quests move to Archive.
I can't upload a photo/video or it fails.
Try these steps:
- Check your internet connection.
- Free some device storage.
- Ensure Photos/Media permission is enabled for Quest-ly.
- Try a smaller file or shorter clip.
- Restart the app and try again.
I'm not receiving push notifications.
Check in-app notification settings and device notification settings. On Android, disable battery optimization for Quest-ly. On iOS, check Focus/Do Not Disturb.
How do I delete my account or request my data?
You can permanently delete your account in Profile Settings. Deletion is irreversible: account data is removed and not retained on the server.
How do I report content or a user?
Use the in-app report option whenever available. If urgent, email [email protected] with links/screenshots and context.
Payments and ads: what if a campaign/top-up payment failed?
Campaign/top-up payments are processed via Stripe. Quest-ly does not store full card numbers. For payment issues, include the transaction reference and time, then contact [email protected].
